Prized fruit in the Pacific Northwest – favored in pies, jams, jellies, and syrups. Plant has a trailing growth habit. Descendent of native blackberries, raspberries, and loganberries. Originates from Oregon State University in 1945 and named for Marion County, Oregon. Ripens in July. Self-pollinating. (Rubus Chehalem x Rubus Olallie)
