Description

Add the Cinderella Honeyberry plant to your garden for an early-season treat!

Perfect for colder regions and small gardens, honeyberries or haskap berries are compact plants that are very hardy. They have a rounded and upright habit, with clean, grass-green foliage and lovely white flowers in early spring. Ideal as a hedge or living fence, or as a novel addition to a small backyard orchard. Large, deep, bluish-purple berries taste similar to wild blueberries tinged with black currant.

Great for eating fresh, but be sure to set aside some of your harvest for truly special jam or jelly. A note to home winemakers: honeyberries are valued for their currant undertones. Cold-hardy.

Cinderella honeyberries ripen in late May. For this specimen to produce, it’ll need a different honeyberry plant that blooms around the same time to pollinate it.
