A Stark Bro's Exclusive!

About the Stark® Scarlet Spire® Apple Tree

A small fruit tree for any-sized garden! The Stark Scarlet Spire Apple tree is ideal for container gardening and planting in tight spaces. When mature, this tree will reach about 8-10 feet in height, and only spreads about 2-3 feet wide, with the apples growing from spurs along the trunk.

Spire trees are sometimes called urban fruit trees or columnar trees. Gardeners in limited growing space love to keep these column-shaped fruit trees on their patios or planted in a row as an edible privacy hedge. They are loved for their compact size, ease of maintenance, as well as how quick they are to bear. These small fruit trees tend to bloom and set fruit within the first couple of years!

Enjoy these homegrown apples when they ripen in late September. The Scarlet Spire bears bright blushed red over green apples that are excellent for eating fresh, homemade apple sauce, and juicing.

Pollinator required: Choose another apple variety like Stark® Crimson Spire®, Stark® Emerald Spire®, Stark® Ultra Spire®, or Stark® Maypole Flowering Crabapple. See more recommended pollinators below.
