Fruit has an attractive yellow skin blushed with a red cheek and firm, juicy flesh complete with a rich sweet taste. Tree is reliably productive. Originates from South Haven, Michigan in 1924, introduced in 1932. Freestone. Ripens in early September. Self-pollinating.
