Description

The Crimson Star Goji Berry is an attractive, vining shrub packed with healthful benefits. In spring, the light purple flowers bloom transforming into abundant bright red berries, that ripen from mid-summer to late fall.

This Chinese native plant is renowned for its nutritional value. Goji berries are very high in antioxidants, have more carotene than carrots, and contain essential amino acids and many minerals. This superfood has a sweet yet earthy flavor, often dried, eaten fresh or cooked.

Crimson Star Goji berries are self-fertile, cold hardy and drought resistant. This variety of goji berry prefers full to partial sun, growing 8 to 10 feet tall.
