Our policy is to fill orders exactly as they are received. If we sell out of a particular variety, we reserve the right to substitute a similar one of equal or greater value. If you do not wish to receive a substitute item with your order, please call us at 800.325.4180 or email us at

Shipping

Your planting success is important to us. To ensure prompt, reliable delivery of your order, Stark Bro's ships all of its products exclusively via FedEx. Nursery stock is shipped to arrive at the proper planting time for your area. In general, we will ship by hardiness zone as follows:

The last date to place an order for fall delivery is November 30th.

When you place your order, we strive to give you the most accurate estimated ship date for your location. If you pre-order a living tree or plant using our summer purchasing program, it will generally ship during the ideal planting season (usually spring or fall), which will be indicated when you place your order. Orders containing only tools and supplies will be shipped soon after purchase.

If you would like us to ship your order at a different time, please contact our Customer Support Team at 800.325.4180, we would be glad to help you find a more convenient shipping date.

Split Shipments

It is possible that your order may be split into separate shipments arriving at different times. If this should happen, each shipment will be noted with the words "Partial Shipment", written below Order Information on the front of the Packing Slip.

Payment Information

For products purchased online, customers are not charged until the order has shipped.

Orders placed over the phone or by mail will be released for shipping once payment in full is received. If payment is not received within 30 days of placing the order, the order will be canceled.

There are several ways to make a payment on an order. For your convenience, you can make a payment online via credit card. Simply sign in and click the "Make a payment" link under My Orders. Which option is best for me?

Tree Sizes
Bare-root Trees

Trees that are shipped without soil to ensure good contact with soil in your yard. When shipped, they are about 3-4' tall with 3/8" or larger trunk diameter. When they mature, they will be one of three sizes*:

Dwarf

Matures to be about 8-10' tall and wide. Provides an abundance of full-size fruit.

Semi-Dwarf

Matures to be about 12-15' tall and wide. Gives maximum fruit yield per square foot.

Standard

Matures to be about 15-25' tall and 20' wide. A multi-purpose fruit and shade tree.

Stark Supreme Tree®

Top-grade, bare-root trees that give you a head start on growing. When shipped, they are about 4-5' tall with 5/8" or larger trunk diameter.

EZ Start® Potted Trees

Trees in bottomless pots that allow some roots to be air pruned, so that a dense mass of productive, feeder roots can grow within the pot to make transplanting easier. Mature sizes vary. When shipped, they are about 1-2' tall.

Select EZ Start® Potted Trees

Top-grade, potted trees chosen to give you a head start on growing. When shipped to you, they are about 3-4' tall.

Promise of Satisfaction

Since 1816, Stark Bro's has promised to please customers with the very best fruit trees and landscaping products, no matter what. It's just that simple. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, let us know within a year of delivery and we will send you a free one-time replacement or refund your full purchase price if you don't want a replacement. To receive your replacement or refund, please call 800.325.4180. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
