Size & Spacing

Mature Size

When your tree matures, it will be approximately 12 - 15' tall x 9 - 11' wide.

Recommended Spacing

We recommend spacing these trees 12 - 15' apart to ensure room for growth.

Recommended Pollinators

This variety is self pollinating.

In many cases, you may still want to plant pollinating partners to increase the size of your crops, but with self-pollinating varieties doing so is optional. You'll get fruit with only one plant!

Brother- and sister-in-law are very excited about their Asian pears while their other fruit trees get attacked by bugs. We've tried their Asian pears and they are quite tasty.

Finally!
We planted this tree several years ago, and this year WOW! Lots of tasty fruit. We had a branch break from the weight (I should have thinned them better), so I took the fruit from that branch and cooked them down in my crock pot with some cinnamon, and talk about a yummy pear butter! The kids gobbled it right down. My kids walk out there every day and pluck it right from the tree... and eat them like apples. Great investment!

Best tree ever!
This grafted tree pollinated itself. It started bearing in just a few years. At maturity, if you don't thin the fruit, your branches will break! The fruit is crisp like an apple and not grainy. This pear is rarely bothered by bugs. I just moved and I had to buy another pear tree.....this one I chose again.
