Needed some filler bushes for a few I've lost. I think I have a mix of varieties in the patch, but most are probably Pixwells.

Loaded with fruit
One year after planting my Pixwell gooseberry bushes, they are thriving and loaded with fruit. I expect to be able to make a gooseberry pie and possibly a few small jars of preserves in this first year. I am very happy with my three gooseberry bushes.

Pixwell Gooseberry
The bushes are only in my garden for the second year. They stood the winter weather well. There has been some slight damage by dear. This my favorite Gooseberry variety. My grandparents kept several bushes. Remember to never plant gooseberries or currant near white pine trees, my grand parents did not know this and lost three large pine trees.

Awesome
The first year of producing a crop my kids and neighbors kids picked the plants clean as soon as the berries were ripe! They loved them. Hopefully i'll be able the try some come next season.

Love our gooseberries
This is our 2nd year for our pixwell gooseberries, they are loaded and look great, we anticipate a pie or 2. Last year we picked some, mixed with strawberries for a great dessert recipe.

Goose berries
I love my bushes...They are loaded with berries and cant wait for them to get ripe. Tried one yesterday and it was even sour-er than they should be. A little green. Beautiful bushes. I love Starks products

Love, love, love these gooseberries!
Even though we've had a terribly hot and dry summer, and even with only a few supplementary waterings, these baby gooseberries produced some fruit to eat out of hand. Gooseberries are my new "go-to-rage" as far as berries go! I LOVE THESE GUYS! We both love that they're relatively easy to pick and have an awesome sweet n sour taste, plus they are pretty to look at, too. YUMMY!

Abundant, delicious, harvest!
I ordered this shrub and planted it in a container on my patio last year. It overwintered well and this year it had an abundant and tasty yield of perfect, tart, berries! The taste of my childhood! So happy I made this purchase.
