Order & Delivery Issues

Shipping/Delivery Errors or Damage; Missing, Damaged, or Unsatisfactory Product

Our goal is to ship your order accurately and for it to arrive in good condition. Trees and plants should be ready to plant when they arrive. However, accidents sometimes happen. If your delivery is damaged during shipping, is missing product, or contains damaged or unsatisfactory products, please contact us within 14 days of receipt and we will make it right!  We will send you a free one-time replacement.

Some trees and plants are shipped in a state of dormancy without leaves. These plants are generally less susceptible to transplant shock and have excellent planting success. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us and we’d be happy to answer all your questions.

Availability of trees and plants is limited. If an item is unavailable at the time you report a problem, we will offer you the choice of:

  1. An account credit equal to the full purchase price of the item. Your credit will be good for eighteen months from the date it is issued.
  2. A refund of the full purchase price of the item.

1 Year Survival Guarantee

Since 1816, Stark Bro’s has promised to provide customers with the very best fruit trees and plants. It’s just that simple. If your trees or plants do not survive, please let us know within one year of delivery. We will send you a free one-time replacement. If the item in question is not available, we can issue a one-time merchandise credit to your account equaling 100% of the original product purchase price or issue you a refund. Your credit will be good for eighteen months from the date it is issued.

If you suspect that your tree or plant has not survived, we require photo verification, including evidence that you have performed a “scratch test”. Once we receive your photos, we will issue your account credit.

Orders with Multiple Shipments

In the case of orders with multiple shipments, this policy applies to each shipment at the time it was delivered. You have 14 days from the date each shipment was received to report order and delivery issues, and one year from each shipment delivery for our survival guarantee.
