It is made in China.
No sticker on cracker indicating where to lubricate. Talked to some one at Duke Pecan Company ... said to use any kind of oil but recommended vegetable oil. Impressed that we got an answer on Saturday and he was VERY helpful. Said to lubricate teeth up top ... also walked me through issue that I was having with machine. So nice not to be hitting my thumb with hammer while trying to crack walnuts :) bkbrown (an if anyone needs it their phone # is on the box this machine comes in)
Usually that is peeled off before they are stored for a while to dry. I think this item is intended to crack the dried cleaned shell, otherwise the nutmeats could get pretty dirty and that would not be good
I will be 79 in 21 days. I've ate Black
Walnuts all these years because I love them, also have had many sore thumbs from cracking them. This nutcracker makes nut cracking so easy. I think it will crack anything you might want.
Not sure we have macadamia nuts it works for them. However I returned the cracker because it was inefficient, I ordered one from Amazon much cheaper works great.
It also works well for almonds, but is especially good for hard-to-crack nuts.
Hi! We have used our Stark Bros nutcracker on pecans and English
walnuts and it does a fantastic job on either. I can't imagine why you would
not be able to use it for indian almonds. It adjusts for various size nuts and cracked
even the hard English walnut shell without much effort. I highly recommend it.
Susan - it’s hard to say, as I don’t know you, but the lever action cracks hickory nuts easily. It is the most powerful nut cracker that I have used
We recognize that there are other types of nutcrackers that look like the Lever Action but the one we are selling and shipping is indeed Made in China per the packaging of the product.
Not through us Unfortunatley. You may reach out to the manufacture.
Had one before but gears(notches)wore down over time. Wish they made a replaceable gear rail.

We have looked for a cracker and found this was close to what we were looking for to use on our hickory nuts.
