The bag only needs to be filled 1-2 times per week. The high concentration of water will allow the tree to continuously feed off the water supply long after the bag is empty.
We didn't use any anchors. Didn't really consider them actually. The bag is pretty big and heavy before it is filled and when it empties it retains some water as the ground isn't completely even. There was never an issue with it blowing away.
You can adjust drip rate by enlarging the holes but you might risk ripping the fabric. I did not like the one I purchased I use a soaker hose on the 50 tree I have.
We are in Idaho, zone 6b. We use these for our fruit trees and fill up once a week during the spring and fall, twice a week during the summer when it’s averaging over 90 degree temps.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I am not sure I understand what you are meaning. These are not filled with water upon delivery. You will need to fill them using your water hose. I believe it is safe for the fruit bearing tree but if you are still concerned I would reach out to the manufacture to be sure.
Hi Phil, I'm not really sure if they can be used together or not. If you decided to try it I would use the 24".
I've learned that that the inner circle is 6".
