Description
Rabbits chew. The sun scalds. In each case, the result is the same: a badly damaged tree. Tree Guards are an easy way to protect the tender bark of young trees.
Light-weight and heavy-duty! These perforated plastic spirals are easy to use and last for years. Apply just after planting – a time when young trees need protecting most. Adjust the coil throughout the year to make sure it hasn’t become too tight against the trunk and to remove any grass that’s grown inside. Avoid hitting tree guards with string trimmers or other lawn equipment, which can decimate a tree guard and girdle trees – a leading cause of tree mortality. Use tree guards in conjunction with our Tree Circles as a foundation for healthy trees!

Good Idea
This product was a simple way to protect the trees I bought from damage from critters that don't love the trees and much as I do. It also kept the tree from producing branches on the lower part of the tree. It was easy to install and something you should consider when purchasing new trees.

Protection from rabbits
I have to protect my young trees from both deer and rabbits. A fence around the tree and a tree guard around the trunk for the rabbits that somehow sneak through or under the fence. These tree guards work well. Kinda pricey but do the job.

Easy to use and very effective!
What a great way to protect my trees from my cats. Since the cats like to scratch my trees and climb them, this is a great way to protect the bark.

Very protective and so easy to install.
So easy to install! No deer rubbing since I put them on our new trees. I loosen them every now and then and with all the growth I may need to add another piece. Great product.

Saved my trees
After a deer rubbed one of my maples last year, putting these on over the winter have prevented any other incidents. They work! Just make sure to adjust as the tree grows, or remove during the growing season.
