Beautiful plant and great in a large pot
I planted the Sweet Lifeberry Plant into a large pot and it produced a lot of fruit the two season so far. It has been pest free but I noticed this spring powdery mildew on the leaves. We are in Zone 8a and the humidity gets high during spring and summer. I treat the plant with Neem Oil to prevent further spreading.

We are very happy with this goji variety we purchased a year or so ago. It produced an abundance of small berries the first year! They have a strange but not terrible flavor if you can be open to new taste experiences. The berries are full of super antioxidants very good for health. We put a couple every morning in our oatmeal or eat them straight like a vitamin one would take. They can also be dried to preserve and last through einter. The berries can also be put in hot herbal tea for added punch. We love them, thank you Stark bros for selling this plant.

Weird but good and very hardy!
I wanted to add a goji berry to my edible garden. I planted the Sweet Lifeberry this spring and it is already covered with berries! Its only about a foot high so I was not expecting any berries this year. The berries have the strangest flavor.....kinda a mix between a cherry tomato and a bell pepper with a hint of fresh picked peas. They taste like salad in a berry. I can see why some people would be put off especially if they are expecting a berry flavor not a veggie flavor. I think they would be good fresh, in a salad or salsa. Our zone is 7 but we have extremely hot/humid summers and its doing just fine. I had another that got massacred by a raccoon (and I thought it was dead) but that one is coming back from the ground!! I highly recommend these!
