La Crescent Grape Vine
Description
The perfect choice for Riesling fans. La Crescent is one of the University of Minnesota’s most popular cold-hardy grapes, with a flavor reminiscent of muscat (likely because it has Muscat Hamburg in its lineage). The fruit has high acidity, and can be used to make off-dry to sweet/dessert and late-harvest wines. Aromas are primarily apricot, peach and citrus. Vines of medium vigor are cold-hardy, disease-resistant and not susceptible to sulfur. Developed by the University of Minnesota and introduced in 2002. Ripens late September to early October. Self-pollinating.

My Hardiness Zone
?
The USDA hardiness zones offer a guide to varieties that will grow well in certain climates. Each zone corresponds to the minimum winter temperatures experienced in a given area. Make sure that your hardiness zone lies within the zone compatibility range of this variety before ordering.
Pollination
This variety is self pollinating.
In many cases, you may still want to plant pollinating partners to increase the size of your crops, but with self-pollinating varieties doing so is optional. You'll get fruit with only one plant!
