Description
Juicy and sweet as candy. Thought to be a descendant of Red Delicious, this tree regularly sports large fruit with a clean, sweet flavor. Tree is vigorous, upright, and a heavy bearer. Fruit has golden skin with a pink blush. Keeps up to four months in proper storage. Originates from Marlboro, New York. Introduced circa 2005. Cold-hardy. Ripens in early October. Pollinator required: Choose another apple variety. See recommended pollinators below. May be covered by USPP #17284 or other patents. GRE-1198 cultivar.

Very happy with my tree and the purchase. I was on vacation when it showed up and through some miscommunication it was just left in the box for about 5 days. I was worried but it did great. It has put on good growth and is in great shape other than a fungus I have from some cedar trees on my property. I didn't expect to deal with that one but we'll get it figured out. Looking forward to what comes with these trees!

Best deals I've come across
Really happy with my order I got two of these bare root 3-4' and right away these are waaay bigger and stronger than the 3-4' trees I ordered from a large online nursery (f-g-t) that also cost more. Planted them a few days before heavy rain and they are doing great. Nice green leaves less than two weeks

I bought it as a gift for a family member. It can in fantastic condition, well packed and hydrated.Although our fall was very dry it seemed to do ok when planted.My daughter was pleasantly surprised at the size.We are now having cold and heavy snow so spring will be the selling point.

Candy Crisp Apple Tree
Tree was in great shape upon arrival. Seems to be doing well so far in the ground. I have other trees from Stark Brothers and all doing well. Their customer service is fantastic. Definitely will use them again

Left as potted tree for the year, waiting for spring to see if a current apple tree is truly dead. and will replace with this one. Leafed out well once potted, watered and left on southern exposure porch.

I really wanted to let people know that I appreciate Stark Bros and their customer service.
I ordered two Apple trees and after planting them, a few months later one tree is flourishing and the other one sadly for whatever reason that I couldn't figure out, did not do well. I did not know if it was super hot weather or just wasn't meant to thrive. I took a chance and asked if I could have another re shipped to me because I know sometimes nature has other plans. Not only did they reship quickly but , were really helpful and understanding. I highly recommend them because you do not need to worry about after service and care. Thank you Stark Bros again for your service and help and being a company that stands by their commitment to customers, and returning customers.

We planted the Candy Crisp Apple Tree this spring and it is doing very well. No blossoms this year but the tree is thriving.
