Why did you choose this?

Great deal for both a lemon/ lime tree collection

Because, YUM!

Interest and variety in what I grow

Love growing fresh citrus

Are these trees ok to keep indoor?

Yes just place in sunny spot dont over water drain well

If I use grow lamps for these citrus trees in the winter, will they thrive better??

I have never tried grow lamps. Our house has lots of windows so my plant gets plenty of light. As soon as danger of frost is gone we put our key lime and orange trees outside and they do really well, they are often in full blossom before we put them out. Not so much for the banana tree, it likes it better inside.

What does it mean if the zone says 7 but mine is 7B?

The zones are further divided into subzones designated by letters a or b, which indicates a difference of about 5 degrees Fahrenheit and adds further nuance and accuracy between specific regional areas.

Are the trees from grafts?

No citrus is not grafted they are from rooted cuttings.

+do you have any larger Meyer lemon trees?

I am sorry these are small potted plants that are young and we currently do no thave any available at this time.

If I purchase your citrus tree collection kit in the 10"pots how long will the trees take to produce fruit to eat ?

Hi Gilbert - We appreciate you reaching out to us. The citrus collection is shipped with a 4" potted plant and a 10" pot for you to replant your citrus tree. It takes approximately 1-2 years before these plants are ready to bear fruit.

If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. Have a great day!

I would like to purchase the 4 potted fruit trees and keep them in pots. However, they are not compatible with my zone, which is 8A. If I were to bring the plants in the house during the winter, would they then be compatible with my zone? I live far enough south (Selma, NC) and can provide them with full sun all day long on my deck.

Oh, yes, people do this all over the northern half of the country. They just need a sunny window during the winter, the right food and even moisture. They'll make your whole house smell good. :-)

which months does this lemon/lime tree produce fruit? I live in NJ Zone 7B. Can I pot these plants bring them inside during winter and they will still produce fruit in pot? Can they survive the cold if I plant in ground?
Thank you,
Stephen

Don’t plant them in the ground unless you protect from frost with a plastic bag overnight. I moved my tree inside and put it under an LED light during the winter, and it is producing

Great investment
I bought them in fall and both are doing beautifully. I wondered how well they would do considering they would have to come inside within weeks of plants but they are thriving. I definitely recommend them.

Great Buy
I ordered the Meyer lemon, key lime, and tangerine citrus kits in 2018. My Meyer lemon is a rockstar producer. Last harvest it produced 13 very large lemons. The key lime does well but isn't producing much fruit just yet. I had to replace my tangerine, but it is growing really well now.

Arrived beautiful, had a tough winter
Trees arrived in beautiful condition and the Meyer even flowered. They had a great dinner but the winter did a number on them. Meyer completely died unfortunately and Key Lime lost all its leaves. Had a grow light set up during the winter but it didn't help in the end. Hard to blame the company, trees got here perfect, just wish I still had my Meyer

Very disappointed in the citrus tree collection
This is the first time that Stark Brothers has disappointed me. The trees I receive were weak looking, spindly and poorly shaped. They have not responded or grown very well even though I put them in Miracle grow potting soil. The picture in the ad/magazine showed a much different set of trees than I received. I would gladly send them back for the trees pictured ie better, more developed, stronger trees. Again, my first disappointment with Stark brothers.
