Also called shinseiki asian pear

A beautiful and productive tree. This pear features a sweet flavor that makes it ideal for salads and snacks. Fruit is round, but sometimes lopsided, with a long stem. Thin, bright-yellow skin surrounds cream-colored, crisp, juicy flesh. Similar to grocery store Asian pears, but homegrown tastes better! Picks earlier than Chojuro variety. Tree is heat- and cold-tolerant. Originates from Japan in 1945. Ripens in late August. Best pollinators: Starking® Hardy Giant™ or Hosui. See more recommended pollinators below.

Stark has great trees.
Trees arrived on time and in immaculate condition. However the deer in my area also like the leaves. They stripped them clean in a few days.

Awesome Asian Pear tree!
I'm so excited I got this Asian tree and it companion! It's so nice and healthy and has many leaves already! Growing nicely!
Tree arrived in great shape! Leafed out, and is putting on some new growth. I'm training the branches outward/down slightly as pears have very strong upright growth. Looking forward to fruit next year or the year after.

Beautiful pear tree.
We bought this plant expecting it to reach us in April. I reached us a few weeks early and we hurried to plant it. It is doing well. A similar one we planted a few years ago produces abundant fruit.

It's a healthy tree
It was packaged well and it looked healthy, It's growing well, I got some pears in 2022. I'm very satisfied with Stark Bros' trees , I'll buy more trees from Stark Bros .

Great Tree
So far, so good. This little tree has been eager to grow from the start. When I planted it, it was just starting to leaf out. Despite the weather bringing in a little snow, the tree still managed to make a few blooms which impressed me very much. It is now about double the size it was when it arrived this spring. I am pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend.
