Description
Productive tree bears young. Mammoth-sized fruit is satisfyingly juicy with a bluish skin and sweet yellow flesh. Great for tasty preserves, freezing and canning, and is a delight when eaten fresh. Originates from Lansingburgh, New York circa 1840. Freestone. Ripens in September. Self-pollinating.

I have another and the fruit is wonderful
can not find in local market, tried last year, no one could find this variety. would like to make preserves and jam, maybe some wine.
Sounds like an incredible fruit that also does not require cross pollination.
