Description
A blaze of late-summer beauty. This plant grows like astilbe or coral bells, with low-lying bushy foliage and groups of tall, single-bloom stalks. Intensely red blooms appear from July to September. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Plant prefers average-to-moist soil; even tolerates wet soil, doing well around ponds and along streams. Perennial.
