Musik Garlic Bulbs
Description
Introducing Musik Garlic – a flavorful and hardy addition to your garden! This hardneck porcelain garlic variety offers rich flavor and medium to hot heat. Its buff-colored cloves with red highlights are easy to peel.
Musik Garlic yields excellently, has impressive cold hardiness, and can be stored for up to 6 months or more. Named after Al Musik, who discovered it in Italy, this hardneck variety is known for its sweet, hot pungent flavor. It is similar to German Extra Hardy, with large, succulent cloves.
Musik Garlic is versatile in the kitchen, adding a delightful kick to a variety of dishes. Use it raw for its spicy flavor or cook it to experience its aromatic and robust taste. It’s perfect for roasting, sautéing, stir-fries, and more. The large cloves of Musik Garlic make it easy to incorporate into your favorite recipes, adding depth and complexity to your culinary creations.
For optimal growth, plant Musik Garlic in the fall before the ground freezes, typically in early to mid-autumn. It prefers full sun and well-prepared, organically rich soil. Proper spacing is important, allowing approximately 6 inches between cloves and 1-2 feet between rows. In colder climates, covering the garlic with mulch before winter helps protect it. Harvest when the lower leaves have dried and the bulbs are plump and filled out.
A half-pound set of garlic contains approximately 3-4 bulbs. Each bulb contains several cloves for planting. Actual quantity may vary depending on bulb size.
