This is a gift. Will plant be blooming when shipped?
Robin W on May 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Definitely not - very small, and probably no flowers until the following year.
Will deer eat this hydrangea?
Judy F on May 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We have a ton of deer around here and they have not eaten it. It struggles to grow here at a zone 5 as the plant has to come back basically from the roots every year.

Fast grower
Cut it back to the ground last winter and it has already (at the end of May) grown from that to be at least four feet tall with many blossoms ready to go.
