Description
An incomparable aroma. The smell of fresh basil is a sure sign of summer, just like the first ripe peach. Very large leaves (up to 4” long) make kitchen prep easy. Italian Large Leaf Basil ‘Napolitano’ is sweet like ‘Genovese’, but a little less peppery. An excellent choice for pesto, pasta, caprese salad ... anywhere you want the flavor of mild anise and herbaceous greens, including Thai dishes. Grows very well indoors (under lights or in a sunny window) through the winter months. Never be without fresh basil!
