Description

An appealing shade tree with year-round color!

The Royal Red Maple is a Red Norway Maple variety that is similar to ‘Crimson King’ but with improved disease resistance and what some consider better coloring. Royal Red is also less vigorous and less prone to frost cracks.

Royal Red has a straight trunk, and a lovely shaped canopy, providing shade while serving as a beautiful landscape specimen. The glossy foliage is a spectacular maroon color red all season long.

Royal Red Maple is adaptable to various soil conditions. Plant this ornamental tree in full sun to partial shade in average well-drained soil. Once established this maple tree is heat tolerant and drought resistant.

Add a Royal Red Maple tree to your landscape for a pop of color that you’ll enjoy all season long!
