Fruit Tree & Ornamental Gro-Stakes®

Slow-release, easy-to-use fertilizer stakes. Avoid over-fertilizing and wasteful runoff, while encouraging growth in fruit trees, ornamental trees, and shrubs. These pre-measured spikes work to gradually introduce nutrients into your soil. Gently tap stakes into the ground at the dripline (directly below the ends of the longest branches) to distribute elements to the root zone without risk of burning sensitive roots. Can be used up to 3 times per year during the growing season — spring, mid-summer, and fall. NPK: 8-11-11. Each package contains 5 stakes.

Usage: For new trees, use 1 spike. For older trees, use 3 spikes for every 2 inches of trunk diameter (diameter of trunk as measured at chest height).
