Following the directions included with the product, this meter is intended to be used in the soil in the ground/container. For best results, test soil that is slightly damp. The meter will not give an accurate reading for soil that is removed and immersed in water.

To the best of my knowledge we do not off the plus version at this time.

My Luster Leaf digital soil pH meter uses 3 357/303 batteries. I didn't know this until I removed the battery cover. My packaging did not identify what batteries are used/needed. I purchased this meter over 5 years ago. It is a fickle meter.

Unfortunatley we do not offer the plus meter so I can not offer a suggested price.

I am unsure as we do not offer plants like that. I recommend reaching out to a professional gardner or University for recommendations.

Currently we do not have a plus option, I am sorry. We offer this ph meter and then a Digital 3 way analyzer.

It covers pH of 3.5 to 9.0.
