Adding various flavors

I have not grapes in my garden so I thought this could be a nice additions. I wanted red and seedless.

The description sounded delicious and I hadn’t seen this variety before. All those things and because it was on sale. Easy way to try something new..

I've never tried growing grapes before, but have an arbor that these would look beautiful growing up. This price was reasonable enough to make me want to try them, and since I've been thrilled with…

I have 50+ year old concord seed grapes doing great but the 3-4 yr. old Red flame vine leafs out, set grape clusters & then the leaves begin to curl & the grapes dry up but the neighbor Concords doing fine. Local Extension Agent thinks insects, another thinks herbicides, etc. NO herbicides ever used anywhere on the property! Any ideas or should I now dig the Red Flame up & try planting another one or... give up?!! -Vieja

you have a disease or fungus spray the reliance with cooper fungicide and fruit spray then you reliance will look like the concords

why are flame seedless prohibited in bare root in my area?

Unfortunately this happens to be a product that has state or county agricultural regulations, which prohibit shipment. Sometimes there are local/regional quarantines put in place to halt the spread of certain plant diseases, which does not happen often. While these regulations may change in the near future, we apologize that we cannot ship this item to you at the present time.

Can these grapes be planted in pots? I’d like to grow on them on a trellis. Zone 10a

Yes you can grow grapes in a container. A 15-20 gallon pot that is at least 16-18 inches deep and 18-24 inches wide should be sufficient.

How old are those vines?

The 4" pot are one-year-old plants are new starts - about 4-6" tall - and will grow rapidly during the next growing season.

The 1-gallon plant is in a #1 trade gallon pot (about 2/3 of a standard gallon) and is two years old, and has an an advanced root system. These plants are two years old and about a foot tall at shipping.

are flame  thin skinned?

Usually yes. I live in Nevada so they're a tad STURDIER here but good. Also my vines are still young so I imagine they will be perfectly fine in another year or so when they ACCLIMATE THEMSELVES to the microclimate we have here. They are YUMMY!!
Hope this helps.

Is this the same as flame red grapes? If so will it do well in hot and humid central louisisna?

I bought my Flame Seedless in spring 2018. I love in hot humid east Texas and they are doing wonderful, over head high and growing well. Heat doesn’t seem to faze them at all. We would have had grapes this year, but a late frost bit them back at bit. Would recommend for our area and would buy again.

Are these indeterminent?

Yes, Flame Seedless grapes are considered an indeterminate plant, meaning they continue to grow and produce fruit throughout their lifespan, requiring support like a trellis or arbor.

We planted the vine promptly in a deep hole filled with good soil; we water regularly, and it is doing well.

When my grape plant first arrived it was so small and only had two leaves that I said this little guy is not going to make it. I planted it with great care and continued giving it care and now he is almost three feet tall and growing like a weed. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Huge and producing year 1.
Producing summer year 1, planted a very sparse bare root when it was cool . Rather shocking huge vine growth, I keep chopping it back. Amended soil and handfulls of epsom to fertilize. The grapes are developing and appear to be large. They started out by self thinning. Now the clusters are filling in. Time to bag before the birds discover!
