Golden Muscat Grape Vine
Description
Golden Muscat has been named as one of the finest American grapes. A vineyard standard thanks to its vigorous and productive vines, this slip-skin grape is more hearty and luscious than many famous ‘old country’ grapes. Golden Muscat grapes are sweet, juicy and highly flavored — a good table grape, but shines in wine. These vines produce large clusters of delicious, oval, light-golden grapes. Some grape clusters can weigh as much as 7 pounds. Ripens in early September. Self-pollinating. A licensed variety of Cornell University.

Questions & Answers
The Golden Muscat grape is not seedless, it has seeds.
After planting, new plants can take up to 6 weeks in spring before they break dormancy, depending on what the weather is like in any given year. If you're too curious to wait, you can try the Scratch Test to see if your vines are still just sleeping: http://www.starkbros.com/growing-guide/article/how-to-do-a-scratch-test
Thank you for your question. The age and size information for our grapes is as follows:

bare root: 1 year old and 12-18” tall
I live in inland Orange County, Southern California. I bought two smaller golden muscat grape vines, because larger ones were not available. Although I didn't expect much in the first ( just passed) year, I was pleased to see there was significant and healthy growth. I have built a large grape arbor for what I expect will be good this season. Good luck.
I can grow some grapes I am zone 9b but you must grow grapes that Stark Bro's rate for your area just like peaches I grew them abundantly in zone 7 because of the chill factor and summer heat but they will not grow here in zone 9b hope one day they make a tree that will yield here in Arizona zone 9b
No these are not a seedless variety. IF the variety is seedless it will say that in the name of the product.

Yes, Golden Muscat Grape (Vitis sp.) is a very large and juicy seeded slip-skin green yellow fruit has a mixture of citrus like Muscat flavor. Good for fresh eating and wine.
There may be another problem, perhaps a micro-nutrient deficiency. Extremely dry soil conditions can also cause fruit drop, but I suspect that it's related to fertilizer application.
We are very sorry but we are completely out of stock this season but hope to have more this coming spring. Be sure to sign up for a notification so we can email you once it becomes available again.
