The Criterion Apple
This criterion apple is a favorite of mine, and sadly no longer available. I purchased this tree from stark brothers, and love it so much I want another. I know that stark brothers bought out miller nursery and I had hoped they would keep all the apples available from millers for us to purchase. So many heirloom apples no longer available to the public. What a loss. I'd highly recommend the criterion as it is way better than the yellow delicious for crispness and flavor. If you ever have these available again, I 'd like to purchase another, maybe 2! Thank you.

Criterion Trees
Criterion apples are the best. Our old Criterion tree died and we replaced it with two young Criterion new trees. They are growing nicely.

The Best Apple Ever
Thirty five years ago a friend gave me a couple Criterions to eat and I have been hunting for them at farm markets ever since. When I saw Starks had them I bought two. Planted them last year and used the Tre-Pep,the 4foot trees grew to seven feet. This year they are off and running already here in May. Starks did not have them for sale this year or I would have bought more. The taste of this apple will absolutely floor you. I can still remember how they don't taste like any apple I have ever eaten before. The strong hint of a banana is not hidden in there, it is right upfront, but so is the Red and Golden Delicious. I sure hope Starks has them for sale next year I want at least three more! Thanks Starks

Sad Little Tree
I was very excited to find an apple tree that will grow in Agricultural Zone 9, NE Florida. Planted the tree last spring according to directions. It sprouted many leaves. This year, pitiful. Had many leaf buds but only a few opened. Putting out some branches with leaves on the lower trunk. I'm SO disappointed. Wanted a nice little orchard. Will give it another year.
Multi purpose apple, including drying. Love tangy apples!

I believe it has resistance to scab
My family received a box of these apples as a Christmas gift from my uncle. The best apple that I ever tasted in my life!
