BEST ANSWER: Sure. The only thing you have to worry about is planting some species of fruit trees near black walnut trees.

BEST ANSWER: There are literally hundreds of choices. Honeycrisp is the most popular; other good varieties are Jonafree, Starkspur?? UltraMac???, Cortland or Braeburn.
