A cold-tolerant dessert apple. Tastes like Golden Delicious with a kiss of honey. Fruits are golden-yellowish-green with a bronze blush. Ripens in early October and keeps well. Hardy to -50º F. Best pollinators: Jonafree, Starkspur® UltraMac™ or Cortland.

BEST ANSWER: Sure. The only thing you have to worry about is planting some species of fruit trees near black walnut trees.
If Wolf River becomes available, would it be a good pollinator with Honeygold for zone 3b?

BEST ANSWER: There are literally hundreds of choices. Honeycrisp is the most popular; other good varieties are Jonafree, Starkspur?? UltraMac???, Cortland or Braeburn.
