No, McIntosh and Winesap apple trees will not cross-pollinate effectively
You will need only one compatible pollinator tree to effectively pollinate up to three trees within a 100-foot radius. When selecting a pollinator for the Winesap apple tree, it is important to choose a variety that blooms at the same time.
Since Winesap is a triploid variety, it requires a separate pollinator but cannot pollinate other trees in return. I recommend Golden Delicious as an ideal choice, as it is self-pollinating and will not only produce fruit on its own but also serve as a reliable pollinator for the Winesap.
These should work together as they have an overlapping bloom time.
This would depend on the variety of columnar. Yor trees need to bloom at the same time in order for pollination to occur. Pink lady is a Mid season bloomer so Yes the Winesap and the Honeycrisp will work together.

This is going to be a tip bearing variety.
HI Mike, No it is not self pollinating and you will need another variety of apple for pollination that blooms at the same time such as a golden delicious, and apples take 2-4 years to begin bearing. All of this information is listed on the product page to the right of your screen and under product characteristics.
Hi Linda, Unfortunatley we have no information on who sells the fruit.
I think these are the best fresh apples.
My mother's favorite baking apple is a winesap. But they are hard to come by most times. So I decided to start growing my own. My goal is to not only have a quality supply of baking apples but also to…
Loved it as a child
My all time favorite as a child. I loved their tart/crisp flavor and crunch. You can’t find them in the markets anymore. I was so excited when I saw your offering!
