Description

Any way you slice ‘em, the possibilities are endless. “Pears” perfectly with cheese, baked, roasted or eaten fresh. This fruit has the classic Bosc pear shape and is true to its name with a russet brown skin and yellowish-white flesh. Discovered in an orchard in Oregon. Best pollinator: Bartlett. Ripens in late September.

Live in eastern Kentucky. I believe zone 4 Would this grow well?

This pear is compatible to my area zone 9 but the only pear recommended for cross pollination is not compatible for my area. Would two of the same pear tree work?
