Top quality early apple. Fruit features smooth, glossy-red coloring with firm flesh and medium-grained, crisp texture. Sweet, sub-acid flavor ideal for fresh-eating. Start the apple season off strong! Originates from Lafayette, Indiana in 1971. Keeps for 2-3 months in proper storage. Disease-resistant to apple scab, cedar apple rust, fire blight, and mildew. Ripens early August. Pollinator required: Choose another early-mid blooming variety like with Stark® Lodi, Pristine, or Scarlet Surprise. Co-Op 13 cultivar
