Description
The ultimate apple for old-fashioned American apple pie. Tree bears crops of large, smooth, green fruit with cream-white flesh. Culinary use brings out the full depth of flavor. Keeps well, and sweet richness improves over time for enjoyable fresh eating. Antique variety, originates from Rhode Island, circa 1650. Cold-hardy. Ripens in late September.
