Compact – great for borders! Columnar tree bears full-size, tart red apples with a cream flesh. Perfect for fresh eating and homemade apple sauce. Mature columnar trees reach about 7-8 feet in height, but only spread about 2-3 feet wide – ideal for growing in containers or small spaces. Apples grow from spurs along the trunk. Ripens mid-September. Best pollinators: Stark® Crimson Spire®, Stark® Emerald Spire®, Stark® Scarlet Spire®, or Stark® Maypole Flowering Crabapple.
