Robada apricot is amazing
I ordered this variety from Stark in about 2015. Since it's impossible to buy ripe fruit at the store, I googled "best-tasting apricot" and Robada came up. It took a few years to produce in my Fresno side yard, which doesn't even get all-day sun, but has been steadily increasing its output since. This summer I had so many apricots I had to give bagsful away. I canned and ate what seemed like hundreds of apricots from one Robada tree. The fruits are luscious, beautiful and large. Very recommended.

Tree looks good and is growing well. We water and weed around it so it will grow well. Only had it for a year.

Best apricot flavor
I live in central NC and from everything Ive read apricots are risky here. That said I just ate the one apricot this healthy tree produced 18 months after planting! I picked it on May 19 and ripened it to perfection in a brown paper bag with an apple. Have to beat the squirrels and the birds somehow and think this might be the key. So much for ripening in July! Stark products are amazing and I really hope this beautiful little tree keeps producing.

Good tree
The tree is in its second year. The growth has been excellent. This year, the tree was covered in blossoms by March 30. That's not a bad bloom date for southeast MO, but the freak cold weather in April did them in. Ordinarily, I would have gotten apricots. I am hoping for the first crop next year.

Bare root stick becomes gorgeous apricot tree.
We ordered a bare root Robada Apricot tree last spring. It, literally, looked like a 4' stick with roots, but without branches when it arrived. We planted it anyway, according to directions, and were amazed to watch it develop into a beautiful tree in just one summer. We've had it just one year now, and it's loaded with blossoms. Though we won't enjoy any apricots till July, we have enjoyed the Robada's large, firm, full flavor apricots in the past. We bought them by the box because they were our favorite. That's why we specifically ordered the Robada. It's our entire family's favorite apricot for fresh eating and jams, especially pineapple/apricot jam.

Robada Apricot Tree!
My beautiful tree arrived healthy and strong. I planted it in the fall of 2015. It survived 2 winters and this spring it was covered with beautiful blossoms, for the first time. I hope to have a few juicy fruits to try one day!

More hardy than i ever would have expected
I was pleased with the growth this Robada apricot put on the first year. Over winter we saw temps dip to -20F, I was pleased to see this spring there was no winter die backon this tree at all, it even had about a dozen blossoms which was a completely unexpected surprise. I can't wait to taste the fruit.
It's self fertile and semi dwarf
needed two more apricots
It looks beautiful, the colors are robust. I hope to have a lot of fruit from this beauty.
