WANT A 12-15 FT. TREE (DW1RF OR SEMI DWARF GRAPEFRUIT.  WHAT SIZE POT WOULD THAT BE?

This variety is only offered in one size and they mature 15-20 feet. You may keep your tree pruned but it can minimize your crop yeild. For small trees, a 12-inch-diameter container what nurseries call a 5-gallon pot is perfect for starters. Mature trees need pots double that width and at least 18 to 24 inches deep. This gives roots growing room and prevents tippy, top-heavy trees.
