Description

A popular, large, yellow freestone that’s firm when ripe, but oh, so juicy. The taste is sweet, but tangy, and very rich. Nectarines are large and brightly colored. There are so many, they require thinning for the best quality crop. Good for fresh eating, canning and pies. Ripens in late August. Self-pollinating.

When your tree matures, it will be approximately 12 - 15' tall x 12 - 15' wide.

Recommended Spacing

We recommend spacing these trees 12 - 15' apart to ensure room for growth.

In many cases, you may still want to plant pollinating partners to increase the size of your crops, but with self-pollinating varieties doing so is optional. You'll get fruit with only one plant!

I chose this because of the price, it looks yummy, and it has a later bloom time than some other products. My peach and apricot blossoms keep getting frosted.

Want to try them.
Candace L on May 3, 2020
We are HUGE fans of nectarines, and we wanted to try to grow ones on our property. If companies can dry, can, and package peaches, apricots, mandarins, plums, etc., why are there NO nectarine products out there? We hope that that will change when we can do it ourselves :)

I order my trees from Starks because I always get healthy trees. However, shipping continues to be a problem. The boxes are stout with plenty of staples but the trees are never tied down. The wet newspaper for the roots was everywhere except on the roots. The trees must of been flopping around during shipping. The lower bigger branches were wiped clean off on one side. It does have 4 evenly spaced punny branches alt the very top. By the time it fruits I won’t be able to reach them. I’m to old to get on a ladder in our sandy soil.
