Risingstar® Peach Tree
Description
Enjoy these juicy, sweet peaches early in the season! The Risingstar® Peach, part of the Stellar peach series, ripens up to a week earlier than the Redhaven. The beautifully red-colored, round fruit has attractive yellow and orange striped flesh.
The flesh is firm and melting with a pleasing sugar-acid ratio – perfect for fresh eating. Risingstar is a non-browning and semi-freestone peach variety and also has excellent shipping and storage qualities.
Hardy and vigor, the Risingstar® Peach tree has good resistance to bacterial spot and peach canker. This peach tree is a productive bearer of peaches with weeping growth with medium density.

Questions & Answers
For soil to be well drained you will need loamy soil. Loam soils are loose and look rich. When squeezed in your fist, moist loam will form a ball, which crumbles when poked with a finger. Loam soils normally absorb water and store moisture well. Loam soils can be sandy or clay-based, but are a generally a mix of sand, silt or clay, and organic matter. They will vary in moisture absorption and retention.
Clay and silt soils are made of very small particles. They feel slick and sticky when wet. Clay and silt hold moisture well, but resist water infiltration, especially when they are dry. Puddles often form on clay or silt soils, and these soils become easily compacted.
