Questions & Answers
Most peach trees take an average of three to four years to germinate as a rule. Trying to rush things only brings problems. As an individual who has had fruit trees for more than 30 years; it is well worth the wait
I'm just seeing this but my response my help someone else. Assuming the tree is not patented or otherwise protected by law from propagation, you should be able to clip away the branch, dip in rooting material and plant in some kind of "rooting medium". Look into fruit tree cloning or propagation for details. Hope that helps!!
I live in the consistently wet Seattle area. Second year with this Peach and have had no fungal, bacterial issues. I do make sure that none of my fruit trees have any plant growth or decayed matter within 2' of the smaller trunks and 3' from larger ones. The air circulation around trunks have solved fungal issues with my Asian pear so I've adapted the practice on all my fruiting trees.
Nope. These peaches naturally form in the shape of a donut. The peach has it origins in the orient. The Saturn peach is likely the sweetest white flesh peach you will ever eat. Enjoy!
Yes, Frank, actual tree with roots, mine 4' tall. Shipped bareroot. Bought mine 2 years ago and it had a nice sturdy trunk size. Healthy tree since, no issues and it bloomed the 2nd second summer. If you like a flat topped horizontal branched tree for easy fruit picking, this one responds very well to partial "snapping" of branches. Branch forms a nice solid knot at break for future branch support. BTW, there's a Saturn Nectarine too. Look in Morton, WA if interested, only place I've found.
Do not can well, but freeze nicely. Very sweet, flavorful peach. Great right off the tree or in a cobbler or pie. My favorite peach!
Yes you can, with some good soul and a big size pot, trim every year to keep a well managed size tree.
Yes, peaches, nectarines, plums and cherries, which are all members of the Prunus genus, can safely grow near black walnut trees
Galaxy produces a much larger peach, and has a very different texture than Saturn, which many people describe as "melting". Galaxy is firmer and a little chewier.
That will depend upon which option you choose. Please see the "Choose an option" dropdown menu near the top of the page, which will show you the various sizes/options that are available.
Customer Reviews
Experience was better than expected in every way. Well protected and healthy upon arrival with planting instructions. It's already bearing fruit also.
We just planted our tree Sunday night 4/27/25 as of Tuesday the 29th we have flower buds. It came well packaged. Roots were lively and of great color. We appreciated the planting guide with the QR code. It made planting a breeze and took the guess work out. We followed the instructions and soaked the bareroot tree for several hours before planting.
It's budding flowers and leaves already.
We are excited!
We are located in southwest Idaho dessert so we are looking forward to see how our new peach tree does through the summer.
Thanks Stark Bros!
