I have another Saturn Peach that I bought about 6 years ago from Stark. It has the most delicious fruit, so sweet, the skins peel off with hardly any effort, and it produces like crazy! I did have two of the trees but the first one succumbed to borers. I would buy many more if my yard would permit.
Dianna W on Feb 19, 2019

This tree is so beautiful it could be considered an ornamental tree. The peaches are a bonus. This tree was a very fast grower in my yard and required very little attention. I am ordering more for the front of my house because it is so beautiful.
Veronica M on Oct 22, 2018
Because our customers love them. I love them. Totally delicious.
Smith F on Aug 2, 2018
Because it is the most delicious peach I have ever tasted. This will be the 3rd I have purchased. The first lived its lifespan. The second is still producing. This one I am ordering because one tree that is this delicious must have a backup ready. There is no such thing as too many Saturn peaches.

Stark Bros. had the best price of any online seller for this somewhat difficult to find variety. I have been paying a premium price for these peaches from a local grower, so I thought I'd try growing my own.

WILLIAM M on Jan 6, 2017
Really bought these as a novelty and in the first year ended up with about 20 peaches that were incredible in taste, shape and color. I was amazed at the flavor these peaches had, rarely did they make it into the house. These could be marketed on taste alone.
Andrew S on Nov 2, 2016
My wife bought some of these peaches in a store. They were tasty. Your price and quality was best so I'm buying the trees.
Daniel S on Oct 21, 2016
Early and heavy bearer. Had fruits the second year after planted it. For the third summer, my tree was about 5 feet tall and still small in size, however, I harvested over 150 peaches, though they were not very big. Taste very good.

Michael M on Aug 22, 2016
I am replacing a white fleshed peach tree that died after a normal life span. White peaches in general are divine! Since I am ordering late this spring the only variety of white peach left is the Saturn Peach- so it is the winner!

Is this peach tree resistant to Bacterial spot? Thank you.
Anya P on May 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I live in the consistently wet Seattle area. Second year with this Peach and have had no fungal, bacterial issues. I do make sure that none of my fruit trees have any plant growth or decayed matter within 2' of the smaller trunks and 3' from larger ones. The air circulation around trunks have solved fungal issues with my Asian pear so I've adapted the practice on all my fruiting trees.
are saturn peaches forced into their shape?
Mari H on Jul 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Nope. These peaches naturally form in the shape of a donut. The peach has it origins in the orient. The Saturn peach is likely the sweetest white flesh peach you will ever eat. Enjoy!
Live in the mountain of Peru Aija, Ancash, Peru we are trying to get the Saturn peach to germinate. How to germinate and how long. Please?
Carmen V on Oct 23, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Most peach trees take an average of three to four years to germinate as a rule. Trying to rush things only brings problems. As an individual who has had fruit trees for more than 30 years; it is well worth the wait
Is it actual tree with roots?
frank y on Jan 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, Frank, actual tree with roots, mine 4' tall. Shipped bareroot. Bought mine 2 years ago and it had a nice sturdy trunk size. Healthy tree since, no issues and it bloomed the 2nd second summer. If you like a flat topped horizontal branched tree for easy fruit picking, this one responds very well to partial "snapping" of branches. Branch forms a nice solid knot at break for future branch support. BTW, there's a Saturn Nectarine too. Look in Morton, WA if interested, only place I've found.
Are these a good peach for canning ?
danny n on Jul 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Haven't canned any yet. They freeze well. I think they should can well but you'll need more because they are smaller than the peaches usually used for canning. They don't last long around here because the kids devour them because they are so sweet.
What time of year is best to plant them spring or fall?
Joaeph C on Jul 9, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I always prefer to plant trees in the fall but that???s not always an option. This particular tree in my orchard was planted late spring/early summer. It has done very well with just watering the tree in at planting and then about once a week through the dry summer months the first year. It had its first flowers this year but they were unfortunately killed off by a late frost with the rest of the peach blossoms. Over all very happy with this tree and all my trees from stark brothers.
I have a Saturn peach tree that was infested with a boring insect that killed most of the tree. There is only one living branch left. Can I remove that branch and get it to root, bringing back my tree? And how do I do it?
Ms. Rocky Y on Nov 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I'm just seeing this but my response my help someone else. Assuming the tree is not patented or otherwise protected by law from propagation, you should be able to clip away the branch, dip in rooting material and plant in some kind of "rooting medium". Look into fruit tree cloning or propagation for details. Hope that helps!!
Is the Saturn Peach shipped as bare root or in some other form?
Bob D on Apr 11, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Currently this item is out of stock so I can not accurately answer that, however they would either be bare root or shipped as a potted tree it depends on the growing method and availability next season.

Are these peach trees grafted onto other rootstock, or are they true to seed? Curious if I can save pits from some I just picked.
Courtney P on Aug 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: These trees are grafted to remain true-to-parent. If they were planted from seed, they would not accurately reproduce because they're hybrids.
Do you have two semi-dwarf saturn peach trees available? I want to order them.
Lavern K on Mar 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi, Lavern. This tree is naturally smaller than other varieties, so in this case the "standard" size is equivalent to a semi-dwarf, as it reaches 12-15' at maturity. Please see the "Choose an option" dropdown menu near the top of the page, which will show you the various sizes/options that are available.

A beautiful healthy tree.
Our Saturn peach tree came as a stick. The first few months it filled out and more than tripled in size. Last summer it was one year old, many beautiful blooms and we got three peaches from it. This Spring it was covered in beautiful pink flowers. It looks like we have about 200 pea size baby peaches starting on it this year. Not sure how many will make it, but we're hopping for a bumper crop! We are very pleased with the quality of this tree.

At first I was unsure bout the bare root peach trees I bought. I planted them as soon as I received them last fall and its spring now and they are doing great with lots of blossoms. The trees I got were the larger size trees and they come professionally pruned. I got few more years before I can enjoy my own fresh juicy peaches from my own trees mmmm I can't wait ....
