Description

One of the long-keeping fruits! Fans of Asian pears know how special they are: crisp and super-crunchy like an apple, but with a mild, sweet pear-like flavor that sports a little bit of acidity. The flesh is a snow-cream white with a russetted skin. Use them in salads, cobblers/crisps, slaws and in preserves. Asian pears can be stored literally for months in the refrigerator. Proper pollinators are conveniently included so you’ll get an abundance of pear blossoms and fruit.

Usually spring or fall is the most forgiving time to plant but I’ve planted the whole season.

Do you have grafted Asian pear tree with more then 1 variety on tree? ( I have small yard in zone 9A )

No I am sorry we do not offer trees with a second variety grafted to them.

Very easy to plant!
On my back yard mostly rocks n clay , so I planted it on top with top soil n wood chip (no digging). It grows really well n on third year it gives a lot of fruits with a good taste, don't have to do anything! Just let it grow!

Very nice healthy big trees for reasonable cost. I've paid more for sticks and wished I had known about starkbro nursery before spending my money elsewhere.

Gotta Have!
I was gifted a box of Asian Pears for Christmas back in 2011. The next spring I ordered the Asian Pear Collection! I cannot day enough how much I have enjoyed my pears! I moved from that house and now I’m planning for next spring (since they will not be available until next spring) for my new home! I would plant this fall if I could get the dwarf varieties since space is limited. I live in southern Michigan near Ohio. These trees are a must have and will have the primo locations in my yard!!!

Lots if pears and little care
Over the years I have bought three collections of Asian pears, one for me and then a set for my son snd daughter at their houses

Started to get fruit at yesr two, my semi dwarfs are really up against the side of the house foundation. Now at age 8, they produce great tasty fruits

Beautiful, healthy trees
My trees came is good shape. I planted them carefully, according to directions, and two of the three flowered this Spring. They've almost doubled in size and I am very pleased.

Deeelicious
The fruit of these Asian Pear Trees are not as pretty as the pears I grew up with in the Carolinas. They are not even shaped like the pears I grew up with. They are remarkably more tender, sweet and juicy when ripe than the ones I grew up with. While I've not had to spray or give any special attention to these trees I have had one problem with them here in the Asheville, North Carolina area and that's harvesting the fruit before the bears get them.

The trees arrived in good condition and I planted them right away. They have grown great. The three trees look great and are growing just fine. So far I would recommend them to a friend.

pears are growing beautifully
very satisfied with our purchase, thumbs up for Stark Bros nursery! our backyard is planted with dwarf fruit trees (apples, Asian pears, peaches & plums) from the company.
