Description

Sweet, firm plums with outstanding color! If you’re looking for a larger, sweet, firm, European plum with beautiful color, inside and out, then Empress is for you. The tree is very strong, vigorous and productive, and the plums are out of this world. They’re deep, deep blue with a beautiful yellow flesh that’s firm when you bite in. Yum! Ripens in early September.

Are Empress Plum trees self-pollinating?

BEST ANSWER: No, it is not. It be pollinated with Stanley Prune Plum or any other European plum.

Empress Prune Plums a 10 and above
THis is the first Year that I have found bought and baked with these wonderful sweet Plums.I'm European and I know of the little Italien Plums, but these Empress Prune Plums just blew me away.So big so sweet.On my 1.Trip to store I bought 20 pounds.Still have a few in 5he Freezer and will use them tomorrow for another European Plum cake. I would like to find out more about these Fruits.
