The Flavor King Pluot® is a regular and heavy producer of medium size, firm, semi-freestone fruit. This unique plum-apricot hybrid’s fruit has a sensational floral, sweet and spicy flavor. These colorful pluots have reddish-purple skin and crimson and gold flesh.

A showstopper at farmer’s markets, these pluots are delightful when eaten fresh, with plum-like flavor with an apricot aftertaste. The sweet fruits of the Flavor King Pluot® mature in mid-to-late August.

This tree will need full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, the Flavor King Pluot® tree is low-maintenance and easy to grow. Plus, it does well in many southern climates, with a minimal chill hour requirement of 400. Pollinate with another pluot or Santa Rosa plum for best fruit set.
