How long of a row will 1 pound plant?
Marvin L on Apr 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Estimate that 1lb of seed potatoes will plant 10ft of space. Note: Planting further apart yields larger potatoes.
With all the information you give it would be nice to give an estimate of how many plants we can expect from a pound of potatoes?
Fred G on Apr 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If grown in well-balanced, nutrient-rich soil, potatoes typically produce on a 1:10 ratio of "pounds of seed planted" to "pounds of potato crop harvested".
