Superior Taste
This is a fast growing rhubarb. It is one of the best taking rhubarbs I have ever eaten. It is not bitter as many other varieties. Yes, I would recommend this rhubarb!

Canada Red Rhubarb
I bought this product last year and planted as instructed in May. Per instructions, it was not recommended to harvest any rhubarb last year. This year both crowns have already have taken off growing and look very healthy. I can't wait to pick some rhubarb.
I would recommend buying the Canada Red Rhubarb. So far it is doing very well.

Rhubarb
Rhubarb did not survive.I'm hoping it was weather conditions and not the roots. the roots looked good but did not grow. This is why I gave a 3 star.

Still excited to try variety
Ordered 2 from StarkBros. They were weak and neither survived winter. Ordered two more from a different company this spring, and was more pleased with quality of plants.

None of these sprouted!
I had such great expectations....I do have experience growing Canadian red rhubarb (2 existing beds), and purchased these to expand my beds. Alas, none proved to be viable...

Extremely Disappointed !!!
I just received my order of Canada Red Rhubarb within the last 10 days, when I went to plant it I had only one (1) root that looked any good & it had a bud on it. The rest of the roots were a lot smaller, about the size of the palm of my hand, and they seemed to be crumbly, by that I mean they seemed to fall apart when I handled them. I bought 3 pkgs. of two (2) for a total of $56.97. I planted everything I received, pieces & chunks I hope it comes up, but I gotta tell you I'm not happy with what I got. John W. The bulbs were big but never grew
I was so excited to try these. The bulbs or whatever they are called were big and healthy looking. I planted them, and they never grew. I have a regular Victoria rhubarb around the same area of my yard, and that plant grows like a weed and looks great. I planted it from a plant that I bought, so it was not bulb when I planted it.

Disappointing
We are in Zone 8. The first 2 crowns that arrived were gray and moldy, so they replaced them this spring. Replacements still didn't look so good-- dry and powdery gray. Got 2 tiny leaves that came up and didn't get more than 2" tall, then disappeared. Meanwhile the Victoria Rhubarb planted after the Canada Red next to it is 18" tall. So disappointing. It should be replaced.

Rhubarb never grew
The bulb appeared dead when it arrived, it was grey and dry. I planted it anyway and I followed all planting and watering directions for the rhubarb and yet a year later it never sprouted. Would not order from this company again.
