Golden Raintree Tree
Description
Cascades of golden flowers bloom in July! Golden Raintree will draw attention all summer with its beautiful dark green foliage, foot-long golden cascades of flowers in July, and bright green seed pods that turn to beige and last throughout the winter. Flowers dry into interestingly-shaped “pods” that resemble Japanese lanterns. This hardy tree grows 30 feet tall and makes an excellent small shade tree. Used extensively as a hardy street tree. Likes full to partial sun. Drought tolerant and grows well in most soil conditions.
