Good price and good reviews.

These are fabulous pecans! I'm hoping for production in relatively short time frame and lasting for generations to come.

what nut trees grow in southern colorado?
Can you grow pecan tree on slope to a pond?

If this tree is for your zone there should be no problem with a slope. You do need to make sure drainage is very good. Pecans do like plenty of water but not soaking feet.

I need 4 Peacan trees ship to me in Texas how do we do that ?

Hi Gary, The Desirable Pecan is available to ship now, this fall season. We are restricted from shipping into the States of AZ, CA, NM & TX. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to reach back out to us, remember that we're here for you. Have a great day!

I live in 6A. Is it to to late in the season to plant a Desirable Pecan tree?

Hi William, This is a good question. Because weather and soil conditions vary so much from year to year and even within your zone, it's best to think of your planting time as a range of favorable conditions instead of an exact time.

You can plant new plants and trees: 1) when the ground is not frozen, 2) when daytime temperatures are above freezing (32ºF) and below 90ºF, and 3) when extreme weather (blizzard, hail, torrential rain, etc.) is not in the forecast. Be sure to keep plants watered if you're transplanting in warm and/or dry weather.

If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to reach back out to us, remember that we're here for you. Have a great day!

Desirable pecan
I am very pleased with the pecan tree. It is growing very well for the second growing season and I see no problems for the future. I have 4 other trees from Stark Bros that are over 30 years old and are full of nuts this year.
