4.7 oz. container is enough to set up 22 half-pints of jam.
Here’s a recipe to take advantage of your berry harvest:
• Mix 1-½ cups sugar (or Splenda®) and 5 T. of Ball® RealFruit® Instant Pectin in a large bowl.
• Add 1 cup each* of crushed blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries, plus the zest of one lemon.
• Stir for 3 minutes.
• Ladle jam into five clean half-pint jars and freeze for up to one year.
• Try using your freezer jam as a glaze for roasted or grilled meats, or mix a little into your favorite barbecue sauce.
*If using frozen fruit, allow to thaw before crushing.
