Walt Disney's time living at his boyhood home and farm in Marceline, Missouri was said to be some of the most impactful years of his life. He loved his time spent outside under the canopy of his dreaming tree and having his feet under his mother Flora's dinner table, enjoying her famous Wolf River apple pie.

In fact, Walt wasn't the only one who loved his mom's apple pie. She was well known for it in their beloved hometown.

The Wolf River apples were also famous for their large size. It's even rumored that Flora made an entire apple pie out of only one Wolf River apple.

While she didn't always use Wolf River apples, she did when she could. The taste of the Wolf River apple, grown in their own orchard on the farm, was a taste of home.
