Southern Grape Collection
Description
The Southern Grape Collection is a great money-saving choice for those looking to grow grape vines in the southern United States. These grape varieties have been carefully selected for their ability to thrive in the warm, humid climate of the southern states.
This collection includes 3 heat tolerant grapes varieties perfect for fresh eating and juicing – with compatible pollinators in mind. Plus, you’ll get a discounted price when purchasing a collection compared to purchasing the plants individually.
With the Southern Grape Vine Collection, you’ll receive 1 vine each: Flame, Fry and Cowart.
- Flame Seedless Grape – This famous table variety produces medium-sized clusters of large, sweet, juicy grapes that you’ll love more than the ones you find at the grocery store. Heat-tolerant and ideally suited for southern gardens. Ripens in August. Table grape.
- Fry Muscadine Seedless Grape – A classic, table grape with beautiful, bronzed fruit. This improved variety bears larger, sweeter, and heavier-bearing crops than others of its kind — with no seeds! It is a heat-tolerant variety, popular at U-pick farms. Ripens in September.
- Cowart Muscadine Grape – Succulent bunches of seeded, blue-black, grapes. This variety is one of the largest and most fruitful muscadines. The grapes have a delicious flavor that can be enjoyed fresh and in juices, jellies, and even wines. Vines are vigorous, disease-resistant and heat-tolerant. Ripens in mid-September.
